"people live here"

Sunday's Empire - Peter Gizzi | Alileo Wines Zibibbo Macerato | unscented

Poem
Sunday's Empire - Peter Gizzi

The roofs speak
as light over
the scaped silence.

A cacophony
of shapes
kicks off into sky.

People live here
in the quiet
a day undresses.

Tones shaking out.

Beverage
Alileo Wines Zibibbo Macerato

Boxed Zibibbo! Summery and Sicilian, and it was perfect in a red Solo cup on the beach yesterday. A little citrus, a little white floral, you know the drill. Honestly, it would be really fun to sell a box of this to a table instead of a bottle of wine, and it was really delicious. But upon consideration, I am concerned my feelings were influenced by the ocean and sand.

Scent
I had to take a little break from scents this week??

I wore a spritz of a sample out the other night, and I honestly felt it hang on me for days afterward, and then I kept being very sensitive to fragrance on other people out in the world all week, so we're just on a little high summer breather at the moment here.

Now playing via Spotify "daylist"

this is happening because i am listening to the japanese house song ":)" 100 times every day

Other things

a big knot

The big knot became the other half of a little open knit top that I had knit the first half of in like march. Ot's actually a kind of bad pattern, don't really recommend, but I wore the finished product to the beach yesterday. It's a functional garment. Honestly, it knits up very quickly when you subtract the big knot drama from the whole situation.

sending this newsletter on sundays

Usually on Saturday morning, I think about how I could be more serious about this newsletter and write some lovely little sections, and then every week, I forget to do so. Makes me wonder if I should write it on a different day, which I could do and still send on Sundays, but I know myself. I am not going to do that. I will write it when I send it. I will not edit it. In Olympic terms, I am the Turkish guy just shooting with his heart and not the other memed snipers(?? gun people, you know who I'm talking about) with their fancy little glasses. I can't even look up the actual event to explain this more accurately here.

Carts online

me two weeks ago:

Update re: "I eagerly await the day that I can order this as a replacement. It's discontinued, and I can't find it second-hand anywhere."
I found it! I ordered it! I got it delivered to the wrong place. It will get here eventually.

It got to me on Friday! I wore it to the Whitney in the evening and loved it! Very cutie, very summery, very much I don't have the right bra for it, solvable problems.

I would like to find a skirt or two to get through the summer, and I need a dress for late summer/early fall weddings. Need to start trawling the real life secondhand joints β€” there's stuff to be found β€” but I am not a patient looker.

my yoga-induced shoulder impingement (previously featured in this box) was healed by another yoga class featuring ~fascial flossing~

my whole personality right now is going to yoga and weird little events by myself and i think that's good
